Description of the tour

The boats we will be using are “Filippi boats” and they are a leader in the world of high-level rowing. In the recent years, they have also specialized on Coastal hulls with very high technological content and with innovative design to be as fast and stable on the waves as possible.

During the tour, a professional coach will be present, with a tender for technical support and for safety.

Essential clothing to bring for outings

Sunscreen, tank top bodysuits and swimsuit, cap with a visor, “hand-saving” gloves for those who are not extremely trained.

Schedule

day 1

Arrival in Cagliari, a shuttle will take us to the Canottieri Ichnusa Club in Cagliari to check the boats and all the equipment. Once the paperwork is finished, we will go to the hotel, where you will have a few hours to rest; at 19.30 we will go to the cocktail bar “La Paillote” for an aperitif directly on the Sardinian sea with fish specialties. At 9pm there will be a tour through the streets of Cagliari nightlife with return to the hotel at 10.30pm.

day 2 (9,5 + 6,3 + 11,5)

We leave Cagliari by shuttle to overcome a long rocky and industrial area to start our tour from the small port of Cala Verde, starting immediately to row on crystal clear waters heading to Su Giudeu beach, an enchanting and impressive beach surrounded by sand dunes and shrubs. We will be able to enjoy an exclusive lunch at Chiosco Isola Su Giudeu, after a light lunch, we set off towards the southwest, rowing among small islets, jagged coasts and sapphire blue sea to arrive at the enchanting Tuerredda Beach, one of the most beautiful you will ever see. We will take a bath in its splendid waters and we will be able to find refreshment at Ristorante Poseidon for a drink or a snack.
We leave for the last stage of this intense day towards the beach of Portu tramatzu, passing through Capo Malfatano, the beach of Piscinnì and the small Isola Rossa. After checking in at the hotel, we will have dinner in the center of the charming town of Teulada, to taste fresh seafood delicacies of the day at the “La Grotta Azzurra” restaurant.

day 3 (9 + 19)

After a good breakfast, we will leave for the tour heading towards the extreme south of Sardinia, beyond Porto Scudo and its ancient tower to reach the forbidden and absolutely unspoiled beach of Porto Zafferano. Here there is no type of service, refreshment, construction and neither mobile signal, for this reason it will be necessary to have a packed lunch that we will eat directly on the incomparable waters of this bay that has stood still in time. We will then leave for a long row of about 17km to “return to civilization” and land at the spectacular beach of Porto Pino, a majestic white sand beach with high sand dunes and tall shrubs. After the usual check-in, we will have dinner in the characteristic Taverna “La Barchetta”, where we can taste fish and land specialties to recover the energy spent during the day.

day 4 (12 + 12,4)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards the north, in the salt flats area where we will stop at Playa dell’Amor, populated by flocks of flamingos and often very windy.
We will have lunch at a characteristic kiosk to leave the salt marshes behind us and reach the enchanting town of Sant’Antioco, on the homonym island. After checking in, we will have dinner at La Sulcitana restaurant.

day 5 (13 + 7)

After having breakfast, we continue the tour going up north to overcome the strait against the omnipresent Mistral and finally arrive at Sottotorre beach, close to the millenary town of Calasetta.
Here we can have lunch at U Recantu La Caletta, a nice little restaurant directly on the beach with a large window overlooking the sea. we will then leave for a real 5km open sea crossing to reach a pearl of the Mediterranean: Carloforte.

We will stop in the Caribbean Beach Giunco ​​and then go to the hotel and have dinner at the Sandolo fish market, in an original setting with unique island flavors.

day 6 (5 + 8,5)

In the morning we will have breakfast at the hotel and we will leave towards the south, skirting the coves and cliffs of Carloforte to reach the beautiful Guidi Beach, protected from the winds and set between reddish rocks and white sand.
Lunch can be packed or in a pizzeria vear the beach, about a 250m walk away.

Once lunch is over, we will return to the island of Sant’Antioco, crossing the open sea again towards Spiaggia la Salina, a fascinating white sand beach with a long and gentle shore, all behind a very white natural salt pan.

We will then check-in at the hotel and have dinner at the L’approdo pizzeria restaurant, in the welcoming Calasetta with a panoramic view of the gulf and the whole of Carloforte.

day 7

For the last day, after breakfast, we will take a quick bath with a load of the trolley, walk through the historic center of Sant’Antioco, and finally we will return to the airport of Cagliari.
