rOWING TOUR ITINERARY - Weekend 4 day / 3 night
- Departing from Palermo by hydrofoil is just the beginning of your journey to Ustica, the volcanic island surrounded by turquoise waters.
- After preparing the boats, a dinner at “Rosa dei Venti” awaits you, where local flavors will introduce you to the culinary richness of the island.
Rowing towards the Ustica Marine Protected Area means exploring one of the first marine parks established in Italy, a biodiverse paradise that holds underwater secrets and stories of ancient shipwrecks.
Lunch on the island provides a moment of sharing and discovery, while the sunset yoga session with Savitri reconnects you with yourself in a magical atmosphere.
Dinner at the hotel concludes a day full of emotions and discoveries.
Rowing around the island for about 20 km, a unique way to embrace the wild beauty of Ustica, from its basalt cliffs to hidden bays.
The packed lunch with the best local street food will allow you to savor the authentic life of Ustica, with intense flavors and genuineness.

- Evening: Dinner at Circolo Nautico TeLiMar, a place where the sea takes center stage, followed by overnight stay at the hotel.
- Day: Boat excursion to Sferracavallo, a small fishing village with an unparalleled maritime culinary tradition. Lunch of fresh fish with a view of the sea.
- Evening: Return to Palermo, dinner, and a nighttime stroll in the historic center, where monuments and history recount centuries of civilization.
- Morning: Departure for Ustica, the island of volcanic origin that captivates with its wild nature and crystal-clear waters.

Boats
The boats we will be using are “Filippi boats” and they are a leader in the world of high-level rowing. In the recent years, they have also specialized on Coastal hulls with very high technological content and with innovative design to be as fast and stable on the waves as possible.
Support in the water
During the tour, a professional coach will be present, with a tender for technical support and for safety.
Participants
We offer trips from a minimum of 10 people.
Essential clothing to bring for outings
Sunscreen, tank top bodysuits and swimsuit, cap with a visor, “hand-saving” gloves for those who are not extremely trained.

He has participated in 4 Olympic games receiving a silver medal in 2000 in the coxless four in Sydney as well as two gold and bronze medals at the World Championships.
He decided together with Marco Costantini in 2021 to found TravelRow with the desire to make people discover the world on the rowing boat. Co-founder Fitrow

3rd Level Coach, since 1994 at the head of the Rowing Team of the TeLiMar Society of Palermo. He won with his athletes 9 World Titles, 1 European Championship, 1 Edition of the Mediterranean Games and 1 European Coastal Rowing. Co-founder TravelRow
