Luxury Rowing Experience in the Costa Smeralda
The Costa Smeralda is famous for its white sand beaches. Many believe that, when you have Sardinia so close, searching for lost paradises around the world is just a waste of time and money.
In fact, Sardinia offers corners of impressive beauty, more or less hidden, which is only up to us to discover it by rowing between the splendid coast characterized by the presence of numerous inlets, small beaches, and little distant from numerous islands of the archipelago of La Maddalena.

rOWING TOUR ITINERARY
Arrival in Olbia, where a shuttle will take you to the Canottieri Olbia headquarters to check the boats and all the equipment.
Once the paperwork has been completed, we will go to the hotel, where you will have a few hours to rest and at 7.30 pm we will go through the streets of the historic center of Olbia for an aperitif before dinner.
We will then go to the restaurant where we can enjoy a dinner based on Sardinian fish specialities.
After a short transfer of about 10 minutes, we will arrive at the splendid Olbia beach of “Lo Squalo”, where we will position the boats in the water to begin the tour through the Emerald Coast.
The first and long stage will cross several coves with blue water, white sand and high cliffs. Once we have passed and circumvented the Capo Figari promontory, we will make a stop in a small isolated cove that will allow us to recover our energy.
Being isolated from any type of structure or service, lunch will necessarily be packed. After a bit of swimming and refreshment, we set off again towards the renowned Porto Rotondo, where we will descend to the majestic Spiaggia di Ira.
We will then go to the hotel to check in and to rest a bit, before going to the restaurant for dinner.
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will set off from Ira Beach, sailing along the mainland towards the north, rowing on the crystal clear waters between beaches and rocks, heading towards the enchanting bay of Capriccioli Beach, one of the most beautiful in all of Sardinia.
We will have lunch directly in a restaurant on the beach and then set off in the direction of Porto Cervo, where we will stop at the yellow sand beach of Cala Granu.
Once we have finished bathing, we will go to the hotel for check-in and a shower, after which we will go to the restaurant for dinner.
In the morning, after having breakfast, we will leave from Cala Granu to enter the heart of the Costa Smeralda, going to the small island of Caprera towards the Spiaggia del Relitto, so named for an old boat that ran aground and sank several decades ago.
We will have lunch at the small kiosk immediately behind the beach, after which we will leave the island of Caprera to return to the main island of Sardinia, towards the Spiaggia de la Sciumara, close to the town of Palau.
After enjoying the beach after the crossing, we will go to the hotel for the usual check-in, shower and then have dinner at the restaurant.
On this day, after having breakfast at the hotel, we will explore another small island of the Costa Smeralda: La Maddalena.
The first stop will be at the enchanting Spiaggia Testa del Polpo, on the very small Isola Giardinelli, so called due to the typically large and rounded stones, resting on an expanse of very fine white sand.
Being on a small island far from facilities and services, lunch will be packed.
After swimming in the blue waters of the bay, we will set off again to circumnavigate the island of La Maddalena, stopping at the Monti d'à Rena beach, where we will swim before going to the hotel for check-in.
After resting, we will go to dinner at the restaurant.
After having had a good breakfast, we will leave to leave the island of La Maddalena rowing towards the adjacent small island of Spargi, which we will sail along on its crystal clear waters admiring a succession of small very white beaches to finally reach the picturesque Cala Corsara, where we will stop on the beach of the same name nestled between dark rocks and white sand.
Since the island of Spargi is little more than a large rock, lunch will be packed and eaten directly on the beach.
After recovering some energy between swimming and lunch, we will set off again towards the main island, towards the imposing La Marmorata beach, next to the small and enchanting Santa Teresa di Gallura.
After bathing and resting, we will go to the hotel for the final check-in and then to the restaurant for dinner.
